Neal Trestle Table with hand carved Gospels

Each corner of this lovely dining table is adorned with a painstakingly hand carved detail, based on symbols of the four evangelists as seen in the 7th Century Lindesfarne Gospel Book. The table is versatile as well as beautiful, expanding to receive two leaves (not pictured) as well as disassembling for easy transportation in a virtually flat state.

The chairs and table are all carefully constructed using mortis and tenon joints, both for sturdiness and beauty.

Each design is hand drawn in the finest detail and carefully reproduced using traditional hand carving methods.

Ash trestle table with hand rubbed lacquer finish, featuring carved details representing the four evangelists. Also includes eight side chairs and two arm chairs. The stretcher features a carved Celtic knot design, which beautifully complements the other accents. A clean, traditional spin on an old favorite, this handsome stool is made of ash with an ebony stain and polyurethane sealer for durability. Constructed using mortis and tenon joints, it features a seat of soft elk leather. 16”x 18” x 38” 6.5 CU FT

Adapted from the Morris chair of the Arts & Crafts period, this beautiful piece features many unique details. Delicate and graceful in appearance, it is made from solid Paduak wood, which gives it its brilliant orange/red/purple color. Its strength is also apparent in its style, which features the through-tenon joints as design details. The upholstery is of a traditional style, with a sprung seat and features one of a kind fabric from fiber artist Woofy Bubbles (see link on links page). Designed for comfort as well as beauty, it also features an adjustable back, which can be moved from an upright to a slightly reclined position. 54” x 28” x 42” 37 CU FT

Made of mahogany and pine with an oil and wax finish, this unique occasional table, inspired by James Krenov, evokes a sense of the Old West with its curved side pieces resembling steer horns. It’s a particular favorite of the craftsman and adds a dash of Western spice to any décor. 16” x 24” x 30” 6.7 CU FT
